Now my last post got a lot of criticism for being way too long to grab the readers attention. I'm working at making my posts shorter. However the stubborn person that I am, I'll continue to write the long ones with a slight change..Stay tuned for that. While i leave you with my little attempt to capture all that I never say.
Promise
So today, I swear I'm not doing anything.
just want to sit here and write,

and sometimes hug you cause I can,
The clocks ticking
as I write this,
I promise to wipe your tears
when they fall,
I promise to catch you before you fall, I promise
There's so many things we gotta do, and
so many places to be,
I promise to keep you not,
for the rest of my life but rest of yours,
I'm gonna hold on to you,
cause you know exactly how to save a life, for a thousand years now
And for a thousand more.
